Those rough crevices marking time and energy , wind and weather, the alchemy of earthen roots binding with dankness below. Mostly tall, usually old, and in posture our paths are marked. Grizzled, the secrets held in shadow branches mark graves, texture the cartographer’s mimicry from above.
