Last night (January 29, 2024) YouTube removed one of our videos off our backup channel (Book of Ours Media= https://www.youtube.com/@bookofoursmedia3200). The video removed was “Quarantyranny.” This video was produced with an old, outdated Apple laptop computer in April 2020 and was our very first video ever extensively produced and which launched us into what we are known for on this channel:

Once Book of Ours emerged, suddenly content creators of every stripe upped their game. They started following our particular brand of artistry and creativity by incorporating introductory music, imagery to support their findings or their opinions; they created placeholder images with the bright yellow title. These little changes and upgrades to your favorite content creators were in large part due to our influence, given our creative backgrounds. And for this, we are honored.
So far, as of now, “Quarantyranny” remains one of our most highly viewed, copied, downloaded and discussed videos on our main YouTube channel, “Book of Ours.”

Truthfully, it feels as if we are not long for YouTube in general (main: https://www.youtube.com/@BookofOurs ) but we are not going away and disappearing into the memory hole. All of our content is still free to view on https://rokfin.com/bookofours. We have never learned how to transfer any donations or monetary subscriptions from Rokfin though, so if you’ve donated to us on that channel, it’s still sitting there. We’ve never received it. We do need to make time to learn how to translate the crypto dollars into actual dollars but this isn’t high on our list, what with our second cross country move in five years now under our belt and various other immediate concerns and needs that need addressing.
All of our content is free on Rumble, which has been helpful. Although, as of late, it’s been pretty difficult to upload videos onto Rumble, if not impossible. However we have discovered how to go Live on Rumble. This will be helpful as we move forward. You can follow us on Rumble at https://rumble.com/user/bookofours

Despite having hundreds of thousands of views and despite the various videos like “Quarantyranny”. “The New Model: Sadism” “The New Model: Lifelong Learning”, “Katherine Watt: In Her Own Words”, “The New Constitution: Live War Crimes,” and a host of other produced videos (the last few by Julie, on her own) downloaded, mirrored and shared hundreds of thousands of times (The New Constitution: Living War Crimes has over 30,000 views), the main YouTube channel and the main Facebook page still have abysmally low subscribers.
This is by design. This isn’t because we don’t produce practical, stunning and relatable material that banks on a foundation of reality rather than conspiracy or hyper emotional digital bait.
It’s precisely because we focus on what’s behind the scenes, it’s precisely because we focus on the pivots through the mundane, it’s precisely because we don’t dismiss people whose worldview may make us cringe, it’s precisely because we are open to having discussions with the popular, unpopular and marginalized and it’s precisely because we live our lives outside of the current paradigm, that the formula has been set to keep us at a low subscriber rate, the agenda-backed algorithms target and assassinate our creative content, and we are dwarfed by content creators that aren’t under a target.
As of July 2022, Julie has been working solo on Book of Ours due to JP picking up design projects and consulting for a larger agency. After all, we still live in a capitalist society, where it takes money and a career to survive. We don’t have retirements or savings and whatever income we did receive through Book of Ours was not nearly enough to even pay our electricity bill. So, JP had to pick up work in the sector he’s been in for over 25 years. It’s for this reason that Julie has been teaching herself more creative ways to express the current situation we are in and has started a weekly reading on all the channels, “The Great Taking: A Reading,” where she provides anecdotal and practical commentary on the most egregious and mammoth financial reset the world has ever known, illustrated in a small book by David Rogers Webb, author of “The Great Taking.” Join us for these interesting and telling live streams that take place every Friday at 10am CST.
